Look for an angle, an event, or
an activity that is a little different from the usual one.
Make sure nothing obstructs your
view.
Choose an attractive, uncluttered background.
Remember that you can place the
subject of the picture in other areas besides the center of it.
Becoming successful in anything,
including photography, requires patience and lots of practice.
Kids with
HEART
Photography
Activity One: Show us your heart for something! Create a heart
shape using things you love or things that represent what you love -
beads, checkers, olives, anything! Take a picture of your masterpiece
and add it to your slide show!
Photography Activity Two: Show
us your heart for a special place! Where do you love to be? Where do
you feel happiest? Take a photograph of that place, add your picture to
your slide show, and explain what makes it so special to you.
Photography Activity Three: Show
us your heart for others! Did you clean your room without being asked?
Did you bring your teacher a handmade thank you note? Did you help a
friend with a problem? Did you donate to a worthwhile cause? Take a
photo showing the way you expressed your generosity and add it to your
slide show to inspire others!
Photography Activity Four: Click
here to see the photograph selected as Kodak's
Picture of the Day. Click "Previous" to find your favorite! (February
1's pic is one of Big Dave's favs!) Then copy and paste the photo into
your slide show. Be sure to credit the photographer and the Kodak site.
Explain what it is that makes this picture "work" and any other reasons
why you chose it.
